enjoying the garden

front yard garden is coming along nicely: tomatoes, peppers, basil, beans, turnips, beets, fennel, celeriac, melons, gooseberries, groundcherries, tart cherries, currants, lettuces, broccoli, onions, chives, leeks, sage, mint, tarragon, cilantro, parsley, carrots, lemon thyme, regular thyme, rosemary, kale, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things. I least SOME of that has to work out, right?

back yard garden: peas, favas, chard, mizuna, arugula, garlic, asparagus, rhubarb, mint, sage, oregano, raspberries, grapes, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries (we harvested the first one this weekend), sunflowers, more chives.

hard part is done. now we are mostly urging the plants along, unburying the tiny plants from the mulch & hanging on the front porch with Sara's friend Lilia.
