the mulch is in! that was a lot bigger pain than we realized it would be. luckily mike is super tough & strong & manly & did the vast majority of it.

so now the yard looks very mulch-centric. can't wait for all the plants to grow in a bit more so you can actually see them. but the mulch should help them stay alive so they can be nice & big next year.
