Day 4: Yum, donut
Well it feels like about day 104. I sure hope Mike is looking at a resplendant quetzal right now. We are just here attempting to take a nap. Well Sara is. She did great yesterday, after screaming bloody murder for 20 minutes, she slept all by herself for almost an hour and a half. That is quite impressive!
Frankie-the-dog is driving me a little crazy. Last night she managed to pull the curtains down, and this morning while Sara & I were enjoying the backyard, hugging the ladybug thing, carrying around the tag from the sweet 100s tomato plant, Frankie was in here pulling everything off the counter, so we came inside to yogurt and broken glass everywhere. Yes, I forgot and left the food out. Silly me.
Oooh, new angry noises from upstairs. Usually it is just general screaming, sometimes with "mama" built in. But she is holding a full on angry monologue up there. Go to sleep baby!
Well here is a video of Sara enjoying a donut with a slightly demented air. I don't remember the post-donut nap being any more difficult than any other, so I guess that nap wasn't ruined.
