Glenwood Springs + Halloween

Went to Glenwood Springs for a no-kid getaway. Good fall colors, esp. at the cemetery where Doc Holliday was buried (maybe...Chamber of Commerce was willing to bet on a yes).

Sara was a dog for Halloween, The leash was her idea. Candy skulls are from the local (awesome) Mexican bakery.

OH EMM GEEEEE!

I love our painted house!

I bet you can't even remember what it used to look like.

It was very, very beige.

Here's a little trip down beige memory lane.

another fall festival!

We went up to Miller Farm, where we get our CSA from, for their fall festival. It was pretty awesome.  Corn maze, little rides, petting zoo, a giant shoe to sit in, not too crowded. We also came home with about 100 lbs of produce, free, as part of the entry, which was also free as part of our CSA. What's not to like? Oh, right, the part where we spend all day tomorrow canning all that produce.

Sara climbed the hay bale pyramid "by! my! self!" and is now wiped out on the couch.

Coming soon - pictures of our newly painted house. It is almost done. It looks. So. Damn. Good. I can't stand it.
