Obama Draws 100,000 At Denver Rally

...including at least one tiny Guatemalan. Who was more interested in trying to drink my coffee out of the thermos than in Obama.

What the hay?

So you are thinking, "What the hay? Why don't you ever post to the blog anymore? Has Sara stopped being cute or something?"

Luckily, no. Sara has not stopped being cute. Less luckily, the computer that has all the pictures of her died. We are in the process of trying to get it back to life long enough to get all the pictures off. Cross your fingers.

In the meantime, it finally occured to us that we can use a....ummm...different machine for the pictures still on the camera. So without further ado...Sara remains cute. And we finally got her hair cut!

Cold weather has arrived. Sara thinks her pink coat is pretty cute (thanks for the hand-me-down coat wardrobe Sunit!)

Sara is cute, continued.
We went to this place called Berry Patch Farm, where they have foodie things you can pick. It's a bit late in the season for much fruit/veg though, so they have a pumpkin patch and a little hay maze and a big thing you can color on. Good times.

Here's a shot of Sara with a bunch of her little friends. Left to right, top row: Sara, Zareen, Olivia, Isaac. Bottom row: Anand, Julian and Miles. All except for Sara were produced by the pediatrician crowd we hang out with.

Isaac spots a train and goes hog wild with joy.

Sara thinks drawing is cool (though we fear it inside the house.)

Around the house.

With her friend and fellow Guatemalan, Isabel. Double trouble. It looks like we caught them just after Isabel told Sara a good joke, or, more likely, just as they were sharing a laugh at the expense of their gringo parents.

The night Obama gave his acceptance speech (20 blocks down the street), we were bummed that Sara had to go to bed before he spoke. But! My hero, and Mike's hero Al Gore came on, so we took Sara's picture with him. Go Al! Go Obama!

In Sept. we rented a cabin in Breckenridge for the weekend with friends Lisa & David & (a different) Mike & Nancy. I only remembered to take pictures at the little downtown playground. The cute little blondies are David & Lisa's.
