more grandparents & crying it out

Well Grandma & Grandpa Koloski were a big hit. Sara is missing them a lot, and Frankie-the-dog is really missing her daily long walk with Fred. I totally failed to take pictures! So I guess G&G K have to come back soon.


Sara has not really been getting any better at sleeping thru the night in her own room. And getting up gets darn tiring! Especially for mom, since apparently only mom will do at night. So we just bit the bullet last night & let her cry it out. It was pretty terrible. She cried & screamed for about 3 hours (ugh). But when she finally gave up & fell asleep she slept all night. And had a huge smile on her face when I went to get her in the morning (thank god, she forgives us!). I am hoping tonight will be easier...they claim that's how it works. I certainly can't survive 3 hours of crying every night.

Well today is a much sadder day, because Grandma and Grandpa Greene and Aunt Karen & Uncle Roger left to drive home.

Sara had a FANTASTIC time with everyone and learned some new skills from her Grammie Greene (So big!). She is now looking at me like, "Where did all the fun people go? It's just you?." This gal will do just fine at the lake house...the more the merrier as far as she's concerned.




Luckily we have The Big House to entertain us still. Sara loves the Big House. Thanks Aunt Jenny & Uncle Dan!
